I feel very very lucky.

Last night as I was racking my brain for a post...I got a surprise late night email from amazing interior designer Paige Schnell of Tracery Interiors in Mountain Brook Alabama. I had the pleasure of meeting Paige and her partner Doug Davis at the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) this past August. They swung by the COCOCOZY textiles booth and said hi. I was a little bit of a geek when they came by because I was so excited to meet them. I had been admiring their work for a bit and so I couldn't quite contain myself when they strolled into the booth.

Anyhooooo...Paige's email was succinct...all it said was that their website had been updated and per my request about updates she was letting me know.

Eureka! A post!

So now I bring you a 1929 Tudor revival home in a Birmingham enclave overlooking a golf course with interior design by Tracery interiors. The home is 11,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 6 full baths and 3 half baths! Whoa. Wow! Quite a house.

There is something very calming and mysterious about their interiors. Tracery rooms definitely transfix...I don't know what...but there is something in the homes they design that I just love.

I think this project was a renovation and expansion...so for this, Tracery designed new wood paneling throughout, new cabinetry and ironwork...all blend with the style of the house but definitely give the spaces personality of their own.

Love the grey wash wood paneling in the home's formal dining room. (above)

A huge kitchen calls for a huge island with counter height bench seating (above)

Green stained wood paneling and built-in shelving surround an upholstered headboard in the master bedroom. (above)

The farmhouse style sink, the wall mounted faucet and the marble hexagon Carrara marble tiles on the floor speak perfect elegance in this dainty bathroom. (above)

The house includes its own yoga studio with hardwood floors and lots of light streamin in from the paned windows. (above)

Which room is your favorite?  I think think the bathroom is mine...love a white marble bath.

Thank you Paige and Doug for sharing this home with me and my COCOCOZY friends!

Happy Monday!
