When I came across this panting by Paul X. Johnson a couple weeks ago I immediately knew that I wanted to use it as inspiration for a Wares to Wear post. I just love the vintage-esque feel of the piece...the deep plum lips, smoky hues, and the overall mood. It took me a while to put together, but I'm happy with the way the translation came out. For a dressier version just pop on some classic pumps and you're good to go.
